I am veterinary doctor DVM Heikki Sirkkola. As my other profession I also produce multimedia, teaching software, manuscripts, photo editing and animations. My specialities are of course veterinary subjects, but, as you can see from examples below, other subjects are my interests as well. I studied veterinary in Germany so I can be contacted in Swedish and in English also, and I can translate these languages into Finnish. I do have interest in new subjects, and would like to get in contact with other vets who are interested in making educational software or who have good ideas but don’t know how to put them into practise.

"Suomalainen vs Suomalainen" (Finn vs. Finn)
An interactive work of Finnish civil war in 1918. Based on true story, although main characters are fictional. Tells about battles in Tampere. Works on PCs with DVD-drive.

I have also made software for several companies, for example pharmaceutical company Phizer, Vetcare, Finnish National Board of Antiquities, as well as for smaller companies.

And, although not my speciality, I have produced some websites.

I have a big interest in alpacas and llamas, though I only have one alpaca. I have organized education for breeders and vets. These animals have been found in Finland only for couple of years. www.who-cares.fi
